This might be one of the funniest things I’ve seen in a long time… 556 represent.

Last night at work, Craig thought it would be fun to have Josh be his early 90’s background singer all throughout the podcast. It turned out really funny and this was one of the most fun Best Night Ever’s we’ve ever done. We had to film the #1 moment about ten times because we all kept...

Rain
Rain, glorious rain. We are having our first rain of the season right now. It’s so nice for it not to be snow! The smell is incredible. Not only that, but it will help wash away the lingering snow that still covers the ground in so many places. This is very important as we have Work Week starting on Sunday. This is the time where we do all the preparation for the summer season. With...

My old roommate was involved in a great Improv Everywhere scene a few weeks ago at Grand Central Station in the heart of NYC. He’s got some good face time in this video documenting the scene. What a fun idea. I wish I could’ve been there.
Proof of our massive snow dump this past week…

Officially Colorado
I took off the blue Empire State plates of New York today and put on the green and white Rocky Mountain plates of Colorado. I’m also carrying a paper license and they punched a hole in my NY state ID! I guess it’s official. On my way back from Hot Sulphur Springs I picked up a hitchhiker named Joey. This is normal thing here in the valley. People hitch all over the place....
This had me laughing out-loud-through-out. Perhaps because I lived with the man, but also because it’s just plain funny.
My brother Keith asked for a video tour of the apartment. Here we are! From outside the door through all the rooms. We are still unpacking and moving in to this day, so there isn’t that much in terms of decoration yet!
Good tunes...
Another perk of working at a Young Life camp is the access to good live music. Yesterday evening I had the chance to see Jonah Werner play live for the first time. I know some of you may not believe that I had never seen Jonah play, but ‘tis true. I conjured up memories of mine from my first college experience at Chapel Hill. My sophomore year and junior year I was an intern at the now long...
Well, it was the coldest it’s been so far this morning… neg 25 without the wind chill. Really? I’ve certainly never experienced that before. Once again, a great day to have most of my work inside!
Perks
There are many perks to working at a Young Life camp. One of which is the use of a fully functioning auto shop. Today I put my car up on the lift and did some routine maintenance. Changed the oil and put an engine block heater in my practically new Subaru. Putting the heater in required me to undo the engine block plug, thus spewing anti-freeze all over the floor. Nasty. It’s very...
Last night was as clear as I’ve seen it here so far. Add to that an almost full moon, and it was a stunning night. The moonlight reflecting off the the snow covered pastures made it incredibly bright. In the brightness the horses were having fun with each other and I could see a fox streaking across the yard. It’s a far cry from the streetlights and latin music that used to be the...
So I went into town today to go to the bank for the first time. On my way back, I stopped for lunch at the New York style pizza joint. Frank was happy to have another New Yorker in the valley. I imagine I’ll be spending $4.86 a bunch—two plain and a coke. It’s not Sacco’s, but it does bring back some good memories of walking down 9th Ave from 405 W 55th Street.
Cooooooooold
Nope, no misprint….it really was that cold today. Good thing most of my work was inside today!
